Another busy week! We hosted a pot luck party on New Years Eve day in our apartment for about 45 people which included about 20 from Portsmouth. It was a great time as this is the first since we have been here that both Portsmouth and Roseau got together. Many of the medical students had already left for the US so only the few that have not completed their studies and didn't go home for Christmas are still in Dominica.
After eating and getting ready for some games.

The group playing a game! Dr. Zhao (is from China) is the one
standing with the purple shirt. We are teaching him proper
pronunciation of many medical terms and are also including
teaching him about the gospel.

On Sunday, New Years Day, we had a nice group attending Church including a lovely family from Guadalupe. We actually met the mother, sister Prince, in the Dominican Republic when we went for our temple excursion in October. They have a daughter (picture does not do her justice) who reminds me so much of Kylee. She gave me her email address and hopes Kylee will communicate with her. Her primary language is French as Guadalupe is a French-speaking island. She does speak good English though. She also SKYPES!

We went back up to see David, Randell and Pauli (David's wife) at the Shangri La Resort which we previousy mentioned. Elder Pitman asked David if he had read any of the Book of Mormon and he said he has. Also said they plan to come to Church next Sunday. They are a special family. While in the area of their home we saw a little cave with boiling water coming out of it. Pretty amazing.
