Here it is....day before Christmas! We are just having so much fun sharing the gospel. Yesterday we had the opportunity to show President Glazier (president of the Dominican Republic MTC), wife and another couple around on the island. They wanted to see the Carib Tribe area which was very nice. We even gave 2 copies of the Book of Mormon to 2 Carib Indians. Also tried to see Emerald Pool but it was too loaded with tour buses and then went to Trafalgar Falls but did not go all the way to the warm pool (did not have our bathing suits with us anyway) because it was raining really hard and the steps were treacherous. Every where we turn we have a new opportunity. Just today we saw a little road that goes up one of the mountains that we felt we should go up. There we found a lovely lady (she called herself Sister Jean) who owns The Hummingbird Inn and has rooms she rents out. While sitting on her porch we saw many hummingbirds and 2 iguanas (1 baby and one large one) which we hear are almost extinct. We gave her a gospel message and a copy of the Book of Mormon. What a great visit! We will go to see her again next week. To date we have given over 30 copies of the Book of Mormon and each person fills out a sheet with name, phone number and email address if they have one. Each week we follow up on these and find people who are excited and want us to come visit them and teach them more. Our plan is to have a brunch after Sacrament Meeting Sunday. Our only problem has been to find enough eggs. Should have planned ahead a little better. We miss home and our family but we know we are doing what the Lord wants us to do.
