KC's Eagle Project

Yesterday we did KC's Eagle Project. We had Almost 200 people come to the train show. We had almost 200 items donated and $95 donated. For family home evening on Mon. we will go shopping with the money to get more cleaning supplies for Save the Family Foundation. It was a lot of hard work but it was so fun to see the kids smiling and happy watching the trains. Dustin, Rustin and Mathew came to enjoy the show as well. Here are some pictures. We are all exhausted today and glad it is over. As a parent, it was neat to see KC learn and grow throughout this project. He went from not knowing or wanting to talk on the phone to calling people for 1 and 1/2 hours. He went from a child skating around oblivious to those around him to a leader giving direction and information to all who came to the show. He learned many lessons that will help him throughout his life.All the donations.
