Another awesome week! We met with Malcolm three times now and find him to be a golden contact. The first lesson with him and the elders was wonderful. We are so humbled and grateful for this blessing.
This is the week we decided to spend a night at the "Shangrila Resort" which David, Pauli and Randell operate. Breakfast included a hard boiled egg (which tasted fine but the shell didn't look too good because it was cooked in the boiling spring) with a wonderful array of delicious fresh fruits most of which was picked from the property. What a great experience!

The interior of our cabin had no screens except the roll down shades.
Surprisingly no bugs bothered us. The sounds
of the jungle at night was wonderful! |

| This is the outisde of the cabin. Though you really can't see if very well, there is a wind chime to the left of me in the picture which has the most melodic sound I have ever hear from a wind chime. It almost sounded like church bells and was very soothing. It chimed when the wind blew a bit during the night or when a squall of rain came on. Along with the jungle sounds it was an amazing experience. This cabin is in the heart of the jungle but very comfortable. The total cost which included breakfast was $50. |

This is the first time we put on our bathing suits since being on
our mission and we took a swim with Randell in the mineral hot tubs.
You can see in the upper right corner of this picture some additonal
thermal activity which occurs throughout the area and ElderPitman
says "if the region explodes that may be the cause of us "landing"
back in Arizona sooner than expected." |

What an awesome mission we are on. We do lots of missionary work but still throw in a bit of fun.
